"Great place, lovely and tidy cabin, great facilities. There is no WiFi, however, but it is still a lovely place regardless"

Harp Hotel

Harp Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"I'm from Sydney. I go to Wollongong for the NRL games, and Harp Hotel is where I like to stay. Cause it's close to the stadium, shops, cafes/restaurants. As I've been staying at this hotel multiple times, I like to request keeping the same room. The hotel was very kind, and they honored my request. The gentleman who checked me in for my room was awesome, and the nice lady in housekeeping was kind to turn on the air conditioner in my room for my earlier arrival, since I had an appointment later that day. So in the end, I'll definitely be coming back again to stay there. I like to make some suggestions: have each room fitted with a peeping tom, and each room should have a security chain at the door (especially for solo travelers like myself. Place some ear plugs in each room, and add an additional power point at the desk, so we can charge our electronic devices. Once you book for the room, the hotel will email everything you need to know about your stay. Please read it. Enjoy your stay."

Links House

Links House

10/10 Excellent
"The keeper's cottage is cosy and quiet, loved the bath. The breakfast room is a beautiful, sunny place in the morning with a view of the golf course. Breakfast options were satisfactory and the food was great. The staff were very friendly. There was no iron in our room but they had one for us to borrow. They were very apologetic when we told them the fan in our bathroom didn't work. There were just some cobwebs near the ceiling but not a big deal cause the bed and towels were all perfectly clean. As with all hotels, not enough hooks or hangers!"

"The place was well set up. it was clean and tidy. Staff were very polite and helpful. Only the car park was too small. Patrons and visitors vehicles parked at the busy times can be an issue- too crowded. Otherwise all! thankyou EH"
