Exceptional hotel. Primarily, the staff was professional and courteous with personality. Ricky was outstanding at check-in, Giselle was enjoyable at the wine bar, and Kevin was kind at check-out.
The room was quiet and very well designed. Little details in the design were smart and made it super comfortable. Love the blackout shades and the shade in the “window” of the bathroom. Nice to have a foot bar in the shower. There were no plastic bags in the garbages. Loved the floor material. Super...

Other than a Starbucks and some quick eats spots across the street, the hotel is in a rather non-touristy area in South San Francisco. The hotel was superior in cleanliness, convenience right off the 101 freeway so you can get around to other areas in the city, and great customer service. The parking was $20 tax every night, which is not bad compared with higher hotel parking rates in other parts of the city. As a mother traveling as the only adult with two teenagers, I felt very safe in the...

The staff were very welcoming when I arrived and provided a thorough tour of the property. The room was lively and clean with a large bathroom and great water pressure in the shower! Walk to the Castro or the Mission for great food. Have a complimentary brandy next to a roaring fire. Just wonderful!

I have stayed here numerous times. Each time has been outstanding and this time was no exception. Every area of my stay was top-notch but I want to single out the staff. Every stay, they have been amazing. They are so kind, considerate and welcoming. They have been consistently awesome and I appreciate it every time.

I came to SF for my 40th birthday for the first time and chose the Jay as it seemed stylish, well situated, and had amenities I was looking for. It didn’t disappoint. We found the bed very comfortable, they had daily housekeeping which is very rare these days, room service (also rare), a shower where there’s an actual door that closes, and a lovely hotel restaurant and lounge/cafe area which we used often to do some reading! Also, the hotel is near lots of public transportation which we used...

We stayed in the Club level and everything was wonderful. The only suggestion would be to have some vegetarian options available other than salads when we let you know ahead of time that we would be staying with you. Hats off to the chef for the best lemon tart I have ever eaten!

Love the futuristic rooms with fancy ambient lighting and relaxing mode. They have super blackout curtains so it makes it easy to sleep in peace. The only downside I have is that the hotel lacked vegan options for paid breakfast. The only thing I could have was tea and bread.

I don't have a single negative thing to mention about this hotel and whoever is reading this, don't hesitate to book here- you will not be disappointed.
The hotel is located in a wonderful location- with a convenience store, Target and food options either across the street or a short walk around the block.
Upon check in we were immediately greeted and offered water, tea and coffee (which is provided free of charge throughout your stay. Since there is only metered street parking available, Best...

What a great location! Rooms are exquisite and very quiet for being located near the freeway. Very secluded and quiet setting. It's a favorite weekend getaway for my wife and I!
