"We're stayed at South Point Casino many times and it never lets us down. Our room was on the 23rd floor, it was very spacious and very clean. We stayed 7 nights. We had a couple of breakfasts in the Coranado Cafe and a couple of evening meals. They were enjoyable. Housekeeping were great. South Point must be doing something right as we are in the process of booking another holiday in September and we are planning on staying at South Point again."

"Check-in is at 4pm with ONE attendant at the register and many other standing around doing nothing! Took an hour to check-in, and the pool closed at 6pm!! We literally got in & out. Super frustrating with children who came to swim in this horrid heat wave. To make matters worse you have even less time in the room with check out at 10am!!! Who wakes up in Las Vegas before 10? Top it off the pool didn’t open until 10. What is going on here? A COMPLETE SCAM. Rooms are ample, nice updates, dirty as hell especially in the tubs. I can see they’re clearly under staffed, over charge, and don’t make it feasible to use the amenities you pay for. Absolutely crazy will never stay here again. Would rather stay at trailer park caddy corner to this place with full amenities, pools open til 10, and check out is at noon like it should be. "

"Here’s the corrected version: Not a bad place to stay with good access to the South Point Casino. The biggest problem was with the elevators. Being on a high floor, there are three elevators in each building, which is not enough for 21 floors of guests. In addition to the guests using the elevators, the hotel staff and the construction workers use the same elevators. During check-in/check-out times each day, the elevator line would start backing up — I waited 30 minutes one day for one to come. During the time I was there, only 2 of 3 were working in our building, then the last day it was down to one, and when I tried to check out, there were no elevators working at all. I had to carry my luggage down 19 flights of stairs to get down. The other thing they will tell you is that you can get a ride on one of the carts from the front of the resort to your building, don’t trust that. It takes forever to find one to ride, and it’s quicker to take the 10-minute walk. If you stay here, ask for a building up front and a low floor, and it wouldn’t be bad for the price. "

"Breakfast was great and fresh each morning. The bathroom was not cleaned thoughly upon our arrival as there was hair in the shower and a dead bug on the floor as well as missing half the towels. Also the safe was not reset and we could not utilize it. But overall it was a great stay and beds were comfortable, pool was nice and staff friendly. "

"I’m in good shape at 71, but I don’t think most seniors would appreciate the absolute furthest room from the elevator being assigned to them. Room had a foul odor. I believe it is coming from the shower drain. The carpeting is pretty pathetic for a renovated property. My phone kept losing its wi-fi signal. Sundance and Su Casa were above average. Starbucks was outstanding. I would not dare eating at Johnny Rocket’s, as every time I walked by, there were more dirty uncleared tables than they were customers dining there. Definitely an indicator of management. Gift shop staff are very nice, prices for drinks very reasonable. Front desk staff(Lori and Belinda) very friendly and informative. Housekeepers were very friendly and would greet me every time. Bartenders and waitresses very friendly and timely. Why on earth do you keep Shady Grove closed? It was my favorite place to play. Sports book(our main reason for coming) was serviceable. I know this is operated by Circa, but their programming selections were questionable. It was March Madness and the programming should have better represented such. I feel the sportsbook should be separated from the main stream of people entering and exiting the parking garage. There is too much commotion and creates a concern for safety. At one point an obviously disturbed man came in and began taunting customers. I saw no security presence. I really appreciated the amount of the video poker machines available, and their pay tables. "
