「So, in honesty, I booked this not knowing it was a bed and breakfast… BUT it turned out to be wonderful. It is called “The Sanctuary” for good reason. Dora and Ed are wonder hosts who definitely went above and beyond for our meager overnight stay. The room was clean, the property was so peaceful. Helped my wife and I start out with a slow relaxing morning before making our way to downtown Detroit. Can’t recommend this enough to people who don’t mind a bed and breakfast. 「Janelle at the front desk was very helpful. The room was nice and rooming. We ask about dining recommendations. She suggested Sal’s place. That’s a mom pop place a little ways down the road about a mile. Very good food very big portions. Enjoy.」

「I stay here every year in july. They allow pets and have nice place to walk them. The pool is nice feature and there close to beach. The snacks down stairs is also convenient. Staff is ok. Housekeeping were very friendly. Breakfast could be improved but at least they offer it. 」
