「This hotel was brilliant. Great by a very friendly member of staff and swiftly shown to our room. The room was spacious, fresh and very clean. The bed was large and very comfortable. Was nice to have two arm chairs and vanity to sit and get ready at. The area was lovely and quite and only a short walk to town. Brilliant stay, would stay again and highly recommend! 」

「Stayed in an upstairs room in The Bakery. Stairs are very steep so, if you have any issues with climbing stairs, make sure you are not staying in an upstairs room. Cocktails were fabulous in the pub!」

「*Clean and everything you need.* Nancy the host runs a tight ship here and was very helpful throughout (also makes a great English fry-up). If I owned a BnB I'd want her running it. I was here longer than expected whilst house-hunting - I'm used to S/C apartments (hard to get in Boston unless paying well over odds) - but was very happy with the room I had (front right at top which has own WC). The locals are friendly enough once you get to know them. Yes a bit dated etc but for the price you def...

「Was greeted by the lady owner on arrival , who explained everything well . The room was clean and tidy with lots of toiletries , nice touch. Breakfast was a self service with lots to choose from , we were expecting a continental breakfast , but there were sausages, beans , boiled eggs and tinned tomatoes. The sausages let a fine breakfast down , but i am biased because i am a butcher with my own shop. So using catering sausages is a no no in my book .」
