"I arrived early and was expecting to be asked to wait until 3pm to check in. However my room was ready and so the staff on the front desk were able to give me my key card. My first floor room was very clean and comfortable. The staff were very helpful - I was meeting up with some of my old College friends and they were able to direct me around the roadworks so I could get to the city centre. The air conditioning in my room was very much appreciated, as it meant the room temperature was maintained throughout the night. As there was very little traffic, I was able to get a good night's sleep. The breakfast was excellent. There was a good range of options available and allergens were clearly indicated. As this is self service, it means there should be less wastage. I enjoyed the cooked breakfast, and was very impressed with the paper containers for the jam/chocolate hazelnut sauce/marmalade which accompanied the toast and croissants."

"enjoyed the stay here again, came last year for the same time - racing a triathlon at Belvoir Castle. really handy location, super easy to get to and close to Belvoir, nice big room, fridge would have been handy travelling with foods and drinks for the race, but everything was good, clean and tea making - will be back again."

"What a lovely hotel and incredible staff! I arrived later than planned following a late booking and 8 hour drive. Thankfully, this was not an issue and the reception staff were friendly and helped me find a parking space before directing me to my room. No fuss, no problem. I then enquired about dinner, having dropped off my bags, and was looked after incredibly well by Brian and Anita. They acknowledged my coeliac disease and Brian went through the entire menu and explained what was safe to eat, and what I had to avoid. This put my mind at ease as not all places are coeliac-friendly, and the extra care and attention was very much appreciated. The same the following morning for breakfast, too. I was in a cottage room just to the side of the main hotel and it was spacious, clean, and comfortable. No issues whatsoever. This really is a lovely hotel and all the staff I encountered were polite, smiling, and happy to help. Highly recommended. I will be staying here again when I find myself in the area."

"Although the hotel is a little 'tired', the facilities with the pool and jacuzzi etc are a welcome treat, and I have no hesitation to come back again. The staff are very helpful and they accommodated my request for a ground floor room, which I appreciated. My superior room was very dated decor wise, and smaller than the last one I had at this hotel, but the bed was comfy and the corner whirlpool bath was a lovely surprise. Breakfast was OK, a reasonable choice, but they have stopped offering fruit, or bagels, or philadelphia pots .. which used to be my 'go to' choice. Lunch and evening meals offer good sized portions and are very nice (if a little expensive). Overall a great stay, whilst the pool is there I will be back."
