「We were in room 302 which has a sea view and was very clean and well presented. My only comment on the room is it was very warm, it felt like the heating was on, even though the outside weather was 20 degrees and overcast. I was also a bit surprised at the additional £50 I was asked to pay on check in (????), although this is refunded when you check out. 「All good 」

「The property is well maintained and very clean , we found the room spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent with a good choice of items to order. The host James was very professional and happy to advise on the area . Close to the cliff lift to the spa, and we found the area nice for walking around Scarborough. The public transport links are close by , you can easily leave the car parked and enjoy a driving free break. We would fully recommend the waves for a short or longer break」

「Very friendly welcome, help taking the suitcases upstairs, nice bedroom with plenty of drink sachets and toiletries. Very comfy bed. Absolutely fantastic breakfast with plenty of options for vegetarians. Great location neat to the south side cliffs. Handy for the main town. 」

「Rooms were clean and beds comfy. Perfect for a stopover and pleased with separate proper beds for the kids. We had dinner in the restaurant in the evening. The service was excellent. The waitress went above and beyond to accommodate our large group sorting us out with our own area and even sorting us out with another meal when a member of the group ordered the wrong meal. Great restaurant and rooms in a brilliant location just a few minutes from the beach .」

「I LOVED this hotel. I’m a world touring cyclist and I love quiet and remote. This hotel was FANTASTIC. Idyllic setting high above the bay. Beautiful grounds. Lovely gardens. Stunning. The hotel just had a makeover and it looks beautiful! My room overlooked the sea—clean and comfortable and a great bathtub! Breakfast was plentiful and high quality. A dreamy stop as I pedal the UK.
