"The landscaping was q beautiful"

"We stayed in one of the cottages. It was convenient for access to tourist spots in Monterey. No frills whatsoever but it was clean. The kitchen in the cottage was very convenient for my family and had basic utensils, toaster, etc. A few things could use a bit of maintenance such as a wiggly faucet and loose handle in the shower, and paint touch-ups all over but everything functioned. Also both bedrooms were, oddly, missing bedside lamps, which was annoying at night. Overall pretty good and we would stay again."

"I knew that this was a 'budget friendly' hotel. It was no frills as expected, but clean and comfortable. There is little sound supression from the overhead room which was noticeable, but once they quieted down, there was no problem. Please note that they add a $100 'deposit' to one's credit card which I was not expecting. I assume that will be refunded right away in my case. The motel was in a quiet and safe neighborhood very close to Monterey, which was great."
