「Stayed one night on road trip. Friendly, helpful staff. Clean and comfortable room. Ample, easy parking with the pub located only a short drive from Scarborough and Robin Hood's Bay. Breakfast was great with a large selection of alternatives cooked dishes, as well as the 'full English'. Overall good value. Would definitely stay again.」

「Amazing staff, friendly and attentive. Beautiful hotel and clean , modern rooms. Comfortable bed. Nice bathroom. Only thing is water pressure was a bit low while in the shower. Breakfast had plenty of options from hot to cold. Lots of drinks available. Tasty food. Loved that we were able to leave our bags and come collect them later. 」

Had a problem with the bedside lamp - she fixed it, injured my knee, she fed me (not for free I hasten to add before scores of people want the same!). 「The property is well maintained and very clean , we found the room spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent with a good choice of items to order. The host James was very professional and happy to advise on the area . Close to the cliff lift to the spa, and we found the area nice for walking around Scarborough. The public transport links are close by , you can easily leave the car parked and enjoy a driving free break. We would fully recommend the waves for a short or longer break」
