What a wonderful place.

We had an amazing stay at the Wolds Village. Our room was lovely and comfortable. The highlight was having a wonderful cooked breakfast on our little table for two at our room window. Lovely quirky place also. There’s a restaurant and shop art gallery and a couple of short walks on the grounds. 10/10.

Faultless Weekend

We had an excellent stay at Wolds Village. Our hosts and their staff were friendly, courteous and efficient - the service was therefore first-rate; the grounds were both beautiful and fascinating with many quirky touches; our room was wonderful and the food superb and plentiful! Overall our weekend at Wolds Village can only be described as faultless.

A little bit further out than i like for work but well worth it. Room was excellent. Was the only one in for evening meal so well looked after. I did wake in the night thinking i could hear musical voices & tunes but realised it was the coffee table 😉

Our stay at Wolds was AMAZING. We arrived late into the evening but Chris greeted us with a smile and ensured that we were satisfied with our room. Very comfy beds and a very large bathroom! However, the main highlights were the property (with walking trails) and the hot breakfast. The property is BEAUTIFUL and well taken care of. The breakfast was super flavorful and there was a large variety to choose from. I was only disappointed that we didn't have the chance to enjoy their evening menu as well, because it also looked amazing! Highly recommend and will stay again if in the area.

Delightful and quirky stay

Thought I'd already posted a review, but can't see it and really want to share this one! A lovely, quirky, friendly place to stay. I wish I could have stayed longer. The owners were great and immensely helpful (borrowing the iphone charger saved me a world of trouble!). The bedroom was fantastic, the bed comfortable. The landlady is an artist and that is obvious everywhere on the property. As is her and her husband's sense of humour. The mosaic dragon hidden in the little woodland, the highly coloured pigs and metal statues. Just lovely. Swinging gently in the hanging chair and looking at the view at sunset in the field with the stone circle clock......like I said, just lovely. Don't forget to have a look at the postcards of the landlady's artwork - I bought a lot! Highly recommended. A place to visit in itself and set in the very lovely Yorkshire Wolds which I hadn't been to before. Enjoy!
