Lovely 2 night stay, staff were very friendly and warm - helpful when we asked about the area. We had 2 rooms - a double and 2 singles - garden view was really nice. There is some restoration construction work for the original barrier wall - this didn’t affect our stay but just to be aware. Great location with parking available. Really good breakfast. Thank you

We stayed in one of the White Swan rooms and it was perfect for what we needed. The room was large and clean and the bed was very comfy. The staff were lovely and so friendly. We will definitely stay again

Beautiful lodge. We stayed in the annex a short walk from the lodge. Staff were lovely and friendly. The grounds were a nice place to relax with a drink. Breakfast was really good ( full English breakfast). Proprietary said they like to employ young students to work weekends which we noticed. Nice to see the young crowd.

I was in room 10 which was very nice but it was next to the kitchen so you could hear the extractor up until about 8 pm also you couldn’t have your widow open during this time. The rest of my stay was perfect, breakfast choice and quality very good ,evening meal very good, staff excellent and ample parking. Outside at the rear was a lovely large garden with plenty of seating for drinks. This was my second visit this year and I would definitely stay here again.

Det er et meget gammelt og hyggeligt sted, med løbende vedligehold. Værelset var fint og rent, med rengøring hver dag. Personalet er utroligt hjælpsomme og venlige, det betyder også at bar og betjening var i topklasse, ligedan med morgenmaden, så vi kan kun varmt anbefale stedet.

We wanted to like the property as the room was spacious and pleasant but there was no WiFi throughout our stay. We rang the reception several times and they kept saying it was being fixed but it never was. Then the builders were drilling and banging right outside our room at 8am on two mornings. Reception had not warned us about this. The Manager offered us drinks and £16 each off a meal or the same off the price of the room. We chose the latter but have never received this despite my reminding them. They could havd handled these issues so much better.

Its such a beautiful boutique hotel. The rooms were so big and spacious with everything you need. The bar and breakfast/dining room restaurant really yum. Wonderful views, lovely gardens, free parking. Wild life on the lawns whilst having dinner. I loved it. The only drawback, it is not good water pressure for shower, but the bath was massive.

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. It was very quiet and peaceful and enjoyed sitting outside at the rear. There's no problem parking. The room was very spacious and the beds were comfortable. The only criticism I have is, about the shower room. It needs something to put your toiletries on. There is a small glass shelf above the wash basin, but that is taken up by the complimentary toiletries and 2 glasses. Even without them it's only a small shelf. I had to put my toilet bag on the floor. The breakfast was enjoyable. Not a large buffet, but it was sufficient. The full breakfast was very nice. I would stay again.

Some refurbishment going on but this did not interfere with our stay. The breakfast was excellent as was the evening meal. The bar was well stocked and a marvelous selection of spirits. The room was very well maintained and comfortable.

rooms were clean and tidy Staff were very friendly and on arrival and throughout our stay. went out of there way to help or deal with any issue. great service. Breakfast was included. Good choice was offered and was delivered quickly and efficiently. Evening meals were great value for money and plenty of choice. Bar had a nice cosy relaxing atmosphere. The old lodge stay was as expected would recommend.
