「Mountainside is a wonderful place to stay. They charge for parking (Expedia won't allow me to say how much parkig was) which is a pretty big ripoff since we had to park outside and not in the garage. This is a new money grab by Marriott so just be aware that the "deal" that it look like you are getting on Expedia is going to be more expensive beause of parking. They always used to offer free parking for one car and a fee for for an additional car which seemed totally reasonable to me. Aside...

「We booked 7 nights for ski. When we realized there is no snow and we decided to leave early. We called the management on the 1st night and ask if we can have partial refund for the rest of the days. The manager, Ethan told us there is no discuss on this. So basically we wasted at least 4 nights without actually staying in. Very upset about this attitude.」

「Clean, and convenient. No on site office but someone always answered to help using the office number. We were able to rent skis right in the resort area, and were right near a ski lift so the ski in ski out was super convenient. The view was spectacular. It was nice to have front row seats of the mountain. Bring an eye mask and ear plugs though because you will hear the grooming machines in the middle of the night and they have bright lights. WiFi signal was inadequate so we could not connect...

「Communication was terrible, honestly the place is really nice but the people in the room downstairs were really loud the view was of the seven eleven, the fees were more than the room cost per night and they have unrealistic cleaning expectations given the fees. 」

「All staff A+ Brandon in the locker room amazing. Cory in the ski shop incredibly helpful. Paul the bellman so efficient and on top of things. Room was well laid out with plenty of storage space. Very clean and shiny. 」

「Great access to the ski lifts and the multiple hot tubs and sauna/steam rooms were very enjoyable. Our second floor room had a great view of the ski jumps from our balcony. The room was quite dated and water pressure issues created a very loud and exhausting noise during the entirety of the shower being used. The ceilings were also very thin and we were woken constantly at night and each morning by the 3rd floor residents. 」

「Due to Deer Valley Ski Resort closing earlier than expected because of the warmer than usual temperatures, certain amenities were not open….SPA, Italian On-site restaurant and Skiing itself was closed with-out notice, which impacted our stay and wish we were notified beforehand. The staff was very friendly, and helpful. The complementary shuttle service and staff was very good getting us around town and were attentive. 」
