"Waterpark was closed, so that was a bummer and not advertised on Expedia. But the main concern, was the fire alarm went off at 3am and the entire hotel had to evacuate. There was something wrong with the alarm in my room, as it emitted a typical loud fire alarm sound-but for some reason, it also emitted an extremely high pitch sound that was the loudest thing i have ever heard in my life. As I write this the next day, my ears are still ringing horribly. The sound of the alarm after 5 mins of trying to frantically get out of the building while cupping my ears in my room, likely has done permanent damage to my hearing in some Level. I mentioned it to the front desk the next day and told Then that if a baby or child was in that room, it could have serious permanent hearing loss. They gave a “sorry, we will get someone to check it out. Take care.” I come to Dubuque often, but will not Come back here -only because of the damage to my ringing ears."

"Was wildly overpriced for the DATED warn out basic room. It was very difficult to regulate the temperature in the room so we had to open the window. The noise from the highway made for fitful sleep and woke us up very early in the morning. When we checked in I asked for an upgrade and was given some ridiculous story about when and how people check out ? Woman at front desk seemed flighty and easily confused. Wasn’t even offered a room on the non highway side . I explained the issues we had to Nathanial at the desk when we checked out and all he said was “Hmmm, oh” The breakfast buffet was ok-ish. Minimal, basic items. The pub it was served in was FREEZING!!! We also explained this to Nathanial who replied with a shoulder shrug . I’m disappointed and so sorry I made the mistake of booking here. Could have gotten far better accommodations elsewhere for far less money"

" Becca was awesome. The only complaints I had were the pool and hot tub were closed one day. Also the fire alarm went off around 7 am on Sunday. Otherwise everything was clean and nice."

"I mean it's a $50ish dollar a night hotel (when we stayed). The breakfast was ok, the room had a bit of a funky smell, but you get what you pay for. "

"Pool area was very crowded, the hot tub was packed with kids. No toys are allowed in the pool at all. Very short staffed.Breakfast very basic.Elevator out of order and because the hotel charged me for early check in and shouldn’t have it took 2 hours to get checked in."
