We arrived at 3.40pm, after some verificafion (we initially asked for a rollaway bed but we do not need it), close to 4pm the room is still not ready. Person on my left and person on my right both got their room keys, i was asked to wait. I stayed with this marriott 2 years back in 2017 near year end, the same thing happened to me, room not ready till 5pm. This is terrible service. After passing our bags to them, we went for a drink. 10mins later then they told us room ready. Went to room, tv keeps hanging when we change channel. Tv remote is full of dust on the surface. We took a nap around 5pm, and was woken up by bell and door knock, to give us rhe welcome fruits. These all not acceptable of a 5 star hotel. Experiences in other marriott hotels had always been good. This hotel really need to take feedback seriously and improve the customer experience.
