「I had a lovely stay at the Exeter Inn! Michelle and Martin gave me the warmest welcome, and the whole place felt instantly inviting. I met up with friends from Bampton for dinner, and the Festive Christmas menu was excellent — beautifully cooked and full of flavour. I stayed in the Brook bedroom, which was immaculate and thoughtfully supplied with plenty of toiletries. A genuinely delightful visit and I’d happily return. Thank you !」

I stayed here for business so I needed to do more work in my room, the staff were happy for me to take my dinner up into my room and the rump steak that I had was incredibly good. I was also up and out in the morning too early for breakfast so the staff made me a packed lunch which was really nice of them. 」

We had a wonderful stay; this little gem is tucked away on a quiet hillside spot, with breathtaking views of the coast and on the doorstep of lovely walks, and just a few minutes walk to the towns of Lynton & Lynmouth. 「The Sawmill was recommended to us by a friend who stayed last year. We arrived to a warm welcome, by the manager, Ryan. The room was warm and inviting, and had everything we needed, (Water, tea, coffee etc, and hairdryer. As we had driven from Poole, we wanted to eat in. The fire is brilliant, the staff friendly, and the food worthy of 5 stars. There was real ale, and lovely melot wine. BReakfast was huge, and filling, all cooked fresh. We would recommend it to anyone.」

「An overnight stay for my wife and self, a proper pub in a village with decent food and warm exceptionally clean accommodation. Beer was good and locals were friendly, as were the staff, parking in the village square 50 yards from the premises. What's not to like . 」
