Hotel was well run and the chef kindly cooked some food of mine due to numerous dietary restricttions, and did it beautifully. Dog was welcome and much kindness shown to both of us. Would highly recommend particularly to solo travellers or those with dog.

Nice old hotel with parking. On the main road with a cafe downstairs. Room was nicely decorating and in good condition with a lovely comfy bed. The smell of dog in the room was really bad and I had an asthma attack even with the window open all night.

This is my favourite place to stay in the area. The majority of the rooms I've stayed in are large, beautifully decorated, so clean too, with a big comfortable bed. The breakfast choice is excellent and delicious.

The service provided by all the staff was excellent. Room was spacious bright and spotlessly clean. Breakfast well cooked and tasty. Convenient location in the centre of the town and very close to the characterful Pannier Market.
