Hen Curtis was very friendly as well as her dogs Fido (retired sheep dog) Jumble mixed Labby/Poodle, Pinto young sheep dog. All love a good bit of stroking (not Hen!!!!). Relaxing place to be with great walks on and around the farm. Not to be missed.」

「Conveniently situated only 5 minutes drive from my first appointment of the following day, I got checked in with a warm reception from the staff. I have stayed there twice before so had an idea of what to expect. I had one of the external ground floor rooms which made it easier to go back and forth to the car park. 「This was an overnight stay on the way to Cornwall. Very pleasantly surprised as the pub is in a beautiful area with lovely walks along a canal. The pub is very friendly and spacious with outside seating. Breakfast was huge with plenty of choice.」
