「Excellent property. Will stay there again.」

「Our room smelled of cigarette smoke. We requested another and were accommodated. The key card sometimes worked and most times didn’t. The room was fine although the AC seemed to make the room more humid somehow. The bathroom fan didn’t work. There were hotel storage items in the swimming pool area. And vacuum cleaners were stored at the bottom of guest access stairway. Breakfast was very basic. All in all over $442 for two nights was too high of a cost.」

「The parking situation is a pain, you have to go into the front to check-in and then move your car to the back and use a parking pass. The bed was really hard.」

「I have stayed at the Inn at Woodlake in the past and it was a little run down. It seems they've gone through a remodeling and everything was in perfect condition. Breakfast was terrific. And the staff was extremely helpful. Highly recommended!」

「Very comfortable room and nice hotel . My only complaint is about Expedia! It’s impossible to have a live conversation if you have to make an adjustment to the reservation. The only option is a AI chatbot or a Chat with an agent after working your way through the Chatbot . Better to book directly with Holiday Inn Express. Even then, I couldn’t talk directly to the Hotel and could only talk to the corporate customer service representatives. But at least I could have a real conversation with them.」

「We found bed bugs after the first hour we were in our room. We did get a refund but there were no more rooms. All hotels were booked unless you wanted to pay close to $1,000 for one room in that area. We finally found a place to stay 30 minutes away in another town.」

The parking lot had multiple people loitering around who appeared to be homeless, and finding an actual parking spot for hotel guests was a challenge. Walking into the lobby, the smell of marijuana was overwhelming. Unfortunately, it only got worse in the elevator. It smelled like a hotbox, and there were dirty handprints all over the walls. Our room felt neglected. The blackout curtains were broken...

「We had a nice stay at The Osthoff Resort overall. The property was very clean, and we enjoyed both the pools and the beach. The location is beautiful, and the grounds are well maintained. That said, we were a little disappointed that so many activities came with additional fees. We were surprised that things like stand-up paddleboards and bikes weren’t included for resort guests.
