Ace Hotel Kyoto

"Best hotel ever. It’s so good it’s hard to leave every day, even though there’s literally an escalator into an underground train station. Staff were very helpful, they even helped me call a restaurant that didn’t have English speaking staff for reservation changes. The restaurants are incredible. Two of them had DJs playing music of various varieties that fit their respective vibes. Outdoor patios. Garden within. Connected to a shopping mall. They all had a-la-carte menus and multi course menus. Some even had guest chefs adding additional menu options. Bars were great too. Unlike most of what I’ve seen in Japan they had plenty of breakfast options that were open early and pleasant, both in the hotel, in the connected mall, and down the road. Our room had a record player with a handful of albums and the lobby has an additional vinyl library. I could go on all day but this was the best hotel I’ve ever been to."

"We had a great stay at Nohga. The hotel has a great vibe and the beds were extremely comfortable. The rooftop bar and bakery were amazing. The location was good, with it being about a 15 minute walk to places like Nishiki market, Pontocho and Gion. Definitely recommend for a stay in Kyoto."

"We had a wonderful stay at Park Hotel Kyoto. The location was very convenient and made it easy to get to many of Kyoto’s attractions. The room was a good size and comfortable for our stay. One thing we especially appreciated was the convenient laundry facility, which was very helpful during our trip. Having a microwave available was also a nice extra convenience. We also enjoyed the food at the hotel restaurant. The meals were very good and made it easy to have a nice meal without having to go far. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The convenient location, comfortable room, laundry facilities, microwave, and good restaurant made Park Hotel Kyoto a great choice for our trip. We would happily stay here again."

"This hotel was absolutely beautiful and was in the best location. We were about a 15 minute walk from most tourist attractions. It was so convenient to have a 7-eleven and Starbucks right across the street. We absolutely loved this hotel. The only negative thing I have to say was the laundry amenities were awful! There were 3 washers and dryers but it would get so busy that you would have to fight for a machine. But the worst part is for just HALF a load of laundry it took over 2 hours to dry!!! The amount of money and time spent on trying to wash 2 loads of laundry was ridiculous. I would say just go to a coin laundromat in the area instead! Other than that, we did truly enjoy our room and our stay."
