"The staff was friendly from The moment we arrived. We valeted and every day we receive our car with wat mers in it for our adventures. What a touch. They also added our Towles to the car when we mentioned a beach day. The entire hotel was clean and the views were great. We enjoyed nights at the lounge having a drink and playing cards. I highly recommend this centrally located hotel"

"This hotel was such a surprise! We had an unexpected layover in the Azores, and booked this hotel at the last minute. As soon as we arrived, we were welcomed with cold towels (it was summer) and were amazed by the beautiful property. We were also also mindblown by the handwritten welcome card and the fruit basket. The staff was very courteous and helpful. We could not believe that such a first class breakfast was included in our stay. Chefs that are ready to take your order, buffets of protein, fruits, cheeses, pastries and so much more. This stay was absolutely incredible!"

"This is one of those properties you hesitate to give a great review- only because you don’t want it to become so popular that you can’t get a reservation. But, I want the staff to prosper so I will tell you that it’s beyond amazing! From the moment we arrived, we felt so relaxed. And, that was after a red eye from Boston. The property is incredibly beautiful - the gardens, the outdoor restaurant (with live music), the thermal springs, the spa. Every detail was perfect! So clean, too! And, the staff was always accommodating and helpful. Great location for exploring Sao Miguel. Amazing breakfast! Easy parking. 10 out of 10! We will definitely be back soon!"

"Sao Miguel is small enough that you can choose one accommodation centrally located and drive the whole island. Verde Mar and Spa offers ocean views overlooking a beautiful surf beach. Included breakfast is great and in house dining is convenient after a day of touring the island. Ribeira Grande is quaint without the urban cluster of P. Delgado. The 20 minute drive to the north side of the island is certainly worth it."
