Location and price are worth it all. Rooms are a great size, bathroom/shower is lovely. There was no room clean during our two nights there, not sure why.

I had low expectations and they were met. Basic, reasonably clean place for a weary traveler to rest his/her head. Wouldn’t want to do anything but sleep there. Location is good, and among crazy pricey Santa Cruz hotels, it was the cheapest. But I still can’t believe I had pay what I did for what I got.

Nice front desk help. Parking is fine. Room was fine for the short stay. Refrigerator worked but not really that cold. Quiet. Expensive for what it is. I realize there are a lot of tourists who want to be in Santa Cruz/Capitola, but for the price, it is a little steep.

The rooms we stayed in have been remodeled. Overall the room was nice. This location is family owned. The guy at the desk was very nice and gave us lots of info. Parking was fine as there was always a place to park. The boardwalk was within walking distance from our room. We will definately stay here again. Thank you

They say check-in times at 3 o’clock, but we have to wait till 630 for them to allow us to go into the room The staff was very helpful. They brought us a iron to iron our clothes The parking situation was fine wasn’t crowded Other than that, the day was adequate and also really close to the boardwalk which we did appreciate

No hot water, loose outlet covers that reveal electrical cords when using outlets, I slipped in the shower and almost fell because the shower floor has nothing slip proof on it, room was filthy and the staff member was rude (yelled at me multiple times white a Expedia supervisor was on the phone with me the next am when I called to complain about the fees I was being charged) and no one was on site throughout the night (he was across the street at another hotel) when I tried to call re the lack of hot water. Apparently I was supposed to know that I had to run the water for at least 20 (with the sink faucet running as well) in order to get said hot water. I was also supposed to magically know that the staff member was across the street at night. I was charge a “deposit” of an additional $100 which had yet to be refunded to me!!! Essentially the WORST stay I have ever experienced!!!!

It’s a cheap room and you get what you pay for. I love that it’s reasonably priced walking distance to ocean. I wish they had some cameras facing the room halls, I’m not sure if they do. And we stayed two nights I wished they would have offered us towels and taken out the trash. But the front desk ppl were very nice and they gave us a great room that ended up being so fun so I really can’t complain. I had loud 16 year old boys and the managers were below us and never complained.
