We stayed one night prior to leaving Costa Rica. The hotel’s shuttle picked us up at the Sansa terminal and brought us directly to the property. The property has a terrific view of San Jose and the room was clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. Our plan was to spend a relaxing afternoon and evening at the hotel after completing our self administered Covid tests to return to the US. Unfortunately, my test result came back invalid. I went to the front desk and asked if they...

Convenient location near the airport, really helpful and friendly customer service they went above and beyond to get us transportation to the next city that we were heading to. We came back the last day and they storage our suitcases while we went around town because our flight was at midnight and they allow us to use the installations to take a shower and provide us with towels for a small fee. The day that we stayed there we got a room with it’s own bathroom, but it is also a great place for...

I was a little worried during the taxi ride to the hotel that I had made a terrible mistake in picking the hotel as some of the areas look a little rough (by American standards), however, once at the gated hotel I realized that I indeed had made a good choice when choosing the location as the property is incredibly calming and beautiful. Just know that since you are out of the city you will need to use Uber eat or a taxi to get food as there is no onsite restaurant.

All of the staff members were extremely pleasant and very helpful with booking spa experiences as well as helping with anything you wanted or needed outside of the resort. We loved everything about this hotel and we are so happy we chose to stay here. The hotel was very clean; we would come in and our room would smell and look amazing. The food options at the restaurant were excellent (we tried all the local dishes and local juices/milkshakes). We felt that the location was perfect- we liked the fact that the airport shuttle was easily accessible; we felt safe walking around the area; and the best part was having a Walmart so close (walking distance) for snacks...

Great place to spend a night before our flight home. The host met us at the door when we arrived and was up at 4:30am to see us off. My wife and I walked to several nice restaurants just 8 minutes away. Very close to the airport, very clean and great value! Had A/C and a refrigerator to keep some food cold. Safe, gated parking but definitely not a lot of room. We had a mid sized SUV which fit fine, but anything bigger would be a tight fit. Would definitely stay here again.

This hotel (not really kind of a retreat/B&B) is set away from the surrounding towns and is in the middle of a small working farm. You drive past cows and milking stalls on the way in....you feel that you're stepping even further away from your busy life to a simpler time. When you step inside it does take a while to realize you are really in someones home, and it's very welcoming. There are fires going in the stoves and fireplaces each evening, all the guests and staff are friendly, and feel...

We stayed here last year on our trip to Costa Rica. Last year, the young woman who works the front desk was extremely helpful to us, so we came back this year. This woman helped us get our backpack back that we accidentally left in a hotel in Manual Antonio, making numerous phone calls back and forth, ultimately arranging to have the bag delivered to another hotel near the airport in San Jose. She even used her own personal phone, and was as nice as she could be in lieu of the fact I was...

The hotel was right next to the airport which was great for our late arrival and early departure from Costa Rica. We arrived at 9:30pm and were able to check in and get a good night rest after our flight. We enjoyed the great breakfast in the morning before heading out. After exploring the country we came back for our second night here. We were able to walk to a restaurant nearby for our last dinner. Our flight was early in morning and we check out at 4:30am. They had a shuttle ready and took...
