"Hotel Montecarlo was absolutely fantastic! The location is perfect, just a few minutes walk to St Marc’s. The room was clean, comfortable and spacious. The staff was fabulous, particularly Dario. If you have the opportunity to visit Venice, book your stay at Hotel Montecarlo."

"The room was clean but outdated. There were dents on the floor that was covered with carpets. The initial room assigned to us was in a dark-lit narrow hallways that can be accessed by going through elevator to 2nd floor then go down the stairs to reach to 1st floor😳. And I have mosquito bites in that room so we asked for another room. They gave us another room the next day but Luka ( front desk man) said to evacuate the room immediately. He said it 3 times) Breakfast has limited choices and set-up of the food and coffee gets the room crowded easily."

"Right outside of the Rialto Bridge. Location was excellent. Saw mouse droppings in an open suitcase when we returned to the room one night but overall the room was clean. Staff was great. Breakfast was better than a lot of other places we had stayed. Loved using an actual key instead of a keyboard. Building was a little dated but wasnt an issue."

"This hotel totally exceeded my expectations for charm and vibe. Walking up to the front entrance was such a photo op moment, being greeted by a beautiful gate and signage, big beautiful blooming flowers, a lovely bar and garden area, and staff who greeted us at the door. This hotel has SO much character, don’t miss the first floor terrace overlooking the lagoon. The rooms were comfortable and had everything we needed. The breakfast was spectacular and with the option to eat outside, we loved mornings here. The dinner at the hotel was delicious as well. Absolutely loved our stay here."

"Property was in need of refurbishment, very dated. Rooms were clean with fresh towels everyday, beds were very comfy. We arrived after the normal check in times but were able to arrange this prior to our arrival and had no problems. Air Breakfast was disappointing, not much choice and only one toaster to serve everybody. Bread had been out for a while and had gone hard and the chopped pieces of apples were brown from sitting around. Perfect location and can’t fault the staff, I would come back again!"
