「Cool, quirky, unique and fun! Our experience with the Retro Inn was super! We loved the room themes and was lucky to stay in the Elvis room. Rooms were very clean and had newer good quality mattresses and linens. Friendly and helpful staff with good dining out recommendations. Close to downtown and short drive to Mesa Verde park entrance.」

「The Mancos Inn is very vibrant and clean. The hotel is on a quiet street and has convenient parking in front. The beds and pillows are comfortable. It has a large kitchen which is shared by all guests. I would advise someone who wishes to cook to buy food before coming into Mancos. There are some restaurants and bars but no nearby supermarket. It would be a great for someone to escape from the city for the weekend. I would advise hotel staff not to burn any sort of incense/sage in the hotel...

「Staff was great, very friendly and welcoming. The photos do a good job at making the hotel look newer than it is. Unfortunately there were dirty foot prints in the shower and mold in the shower curtain. 2.5 star rating.」

「Wonderful staff, great rooms although hallway is a little warm for my liking, the rest of my family had no complaints. Pool/hot tub could use a good scrubbing. Otherwise can’t say enough good about this place. Cookies at check in as well as complimentary water and grab and go breakfast bags were a very lovely added touch. Coffee bar in main area was amazing!」

「Room was clean and comfortable and we stayed here due to its convenient and close proximity to the train station as we were booked to go on the Durango to Silverton steam train the next morning. Breakfast was plentiful but the egg and sausage patties were pre-cooked and then microwaved before being added to the buffet rather than being freshly prepared so not the best quality. Everything else was fine though.」

「Booked for two nights. First night at midnight and next morning at 7am issues with smoke alarms going off several times and being reset. Second night from 10-10:30pm smoke alarms again going off and keeping us up a second night」

「This hotel has a very nice view and is a great choice for shooting or watching the stars. Their service staff is very friendly and will assist you very well with things to do at the top of the mountain to fix inconveniences. The rooms are slightly smaller than similarly priced hotels, but I think the starry sky at night definitely makes up for it, and the balcony on the side of the house offers a great starry sky experience.
