The check in clerk was a grumpy old man. It was like he was doing us a favor for checking us in. Never said thank you. The property is in sub standard/ poor condition. Stirs to second floor uneven causing trip hazard. There was mold on the caulk in the shower tub. The AC system is antiquated, but actually worked, albeit noisy. Unfortunately can’t think of anything good to say about this hotel.

The room were cleaned. Furniture were very old, fan in the bathroom was very noisy. The AC was extremely noisy we had to turn it off because of the noise. Breakfast was very limited, no bread or bagel. There was coffee, cereals, yogurt, muffins small and loaded with calories, orange Juice waffle that you have to prepare yourself. The breakfast room 6 tables, but outdoors seating was available. Parking was next to the room.

The constant street noise was a drawback. I should have done better research because I didn’t realize we were on the main route through the city. Nonstop cars drove by. The sound echoed off the building. The room was clean. The bathroom could have been better maintained - sink stopper gone so you could see whatever was dropped down the drain. Shower didn’t look really clean but it was probably because the tile was reglazed and worn. Beds were comfortable. Sheets were clean. Breakfast was fine. Staff was shy and somewhat knowledgeable about the area.

The rooms are so tiny! The curtains were falling off, dirty floors in the bathrooms, not at all as pictured, the AC barely cooled the room, and you could hear every noise the neighbors made. The staff was very polite and helpful, but we're limited in how they could improve our situation.
