「Friendly and nice staff. Quite comfortable. Very good location, in city center of San Jose, was able to walk everywhere. Supermarkets, convenience stores, fast food are near. Great sodas located on the first floor, under the hotel. Very good price overall. Someone here complained: The hot water is near the beginning of the knob as opposed to the back. There are some roaches in the bathroom and they stayed near there, which is the only downside. 」

「I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Express by SJO in Costa Rica and had such a wonderful experience. The beds were unbelievably comfortable — truly some of the best I’ve ever slept on. While the rooms are a bit small, they’re spotless and thoughtfully laid out. The pool is absolutely gorgeous and perfect for a refreshing break in the sun. 「 Was very cool to see all the artwork and paintings all over the hotel. Staff was super friendly, english was good and breakfast was not just toast. The only negative was the TV volume was too low and we couldn’t turn it up. Maybe we could have asked someone to do it but we never did. The airport shuttle was not free but affordable and reliable.The rooftop pool was nice and was very shady.」
