Another guest arrived on a red eye at 10 am and was told her room would not be ready until 2pm! Far from airport. Very limited ameneties, not even conditioner or enough towels. 「This lodging is a hidden gem away from Poas but close enough to get to the crater within 20 minutes. The views from the dining area were spectacular. The owner, Cindy, communicated clearly and often. She provided excellent directions to the property which is located high up on a hill in a residential area. The bedding was comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. I would highly recommend Serenity Ecolodge for a stay near Poas Volcano. I have nothing but good things to say about the...

The rest Taxi is not $4 like the hotel stated from the airport to here. It’s $10 or more, I got them to bring it down to $10. My friend said the same thing when she came from the airport to here as well. They told her $10…for less than 5 min away which is a ripoff. 」
