「I paid though expedia and the receptionist claimed I didn’t - 」

「I was charged an extra $204 on my credit card for absolutely nothing and they refused to cancel the charges. They are all scammers!」

「Stay was just as advertised- from the outside you can't tell this place is an Oasis. Breakfast was great. We got to meet the owner- very nice and friendly. He gave us a tip on where to eat in Tamorindo and we ended up going there and loving it. Pool and hot tub were great. Had safe on site parking.」

「Right at the check-in, I was told there's no reservation under my name so I had to pay again (will have to dispute double payment), no air conditioner, moldy room, bathroom not so clean with no towel racks, smelly bed linen, pillow case with blood stain, noise road by the room, no lobby area or common kitchen facilities--it doesn't look like the pictures show. Location was okay and the staff (Joaquim) was very friendly.」

「I highly recommend this hotel if convenient location is a must. This hotel is a short walk to Plaza Culture with Teatro National and several restaurants and a nice gym you can buy a day pass to. Staff is bilingual and friendly. Food is served downstairs and very good. Eglys at the front desk is one of the most friendly people I ever had the pleasure to meet. She is always smiling and helpful. I will make this my new San Jose hotel for future visits.」

「Excellent hotel overall. It is very convenient to everything to see in the central area. It is also close to a lot of nightlife activities including for the LBGTQ+ community. There are 4 packs within walking distance. Don't bother with breakfast. The food is tolerable. You're better off finding a cafe nearby.」

「Expectations and assumptions are the reason for my ratings. I thought I was going to have a different experience while that experience was not met. Based on my assumptions my stay there was pleasant and there were some adjustments I had to make once I realized what the accommodations provided the staff was friendly. I felt safe would I stay there again possibly if I’m traveling alone yes but with a companion, I would probably stay somewhere that is more a traditional hotel. This review is not...
