The staff was very welcoming and friendly , made us feel truly special. the room was clean, the restaurant on site makes super delicious food. They also have an outdoor wood fired pizza oven and they also bake their own bread. Everything was amazing! Highly recommend!

Wonderful staff members, like Juan, Stephanie and Milton made sure our check in and stay were perfect. Clean room, comfortable bedding and strong water pressure in the shower. The restaurant has excellent food! Great place to stay in San Jose, 10 minutes from the airport.

The staff was great! The hotel is very charming and in a quiet area of town. The shuttle to airport was great as we had to leave hotel at 4:30 am. We had to pay for coffee though at hotel.

This place is perfect for fly in or fly out days. Great spot close to the airport and rental car drop off. We finished a 10 day vacation and need quick stop overnight in SJO before flying home. Staff is very friendly, super clean with a great restaurant on site. A complimentary shuttle was perfect and schedule on guest flights. This is not a resort hotel or luxury destination it is an outstanding overnight stop with great value and friendly staff.

The restaurant on the property was very nice and the food was delicious. The shuttle service to the airport was awesome. Some reasons I am not giving it 5 stars: we had a visibly dirty glass left from the last person, the TV didn’t work properly and the bed wasn’t very comfortable. It was a okay stay for one night.

La Riviera is beautiful and clean inside and out. The breakfast was delicious and their coffee was one of the best we had in Costa Rica! There is a nice strip mall directly across the street that has a grocery store, hair salon, dry cleaner and bookstore. Staff is very friendly- I would highly recommend!

I stayed there three times over the course of a two week stay in Costa Rica. Each time I had a better room, and my last one was beside the pool and really large. The restaurant on-site is expensive but good. There is an awesome place called Lita’s within walking distance that I’d recommend. Amazing Carribean food for very reasonable prices.
