"We have stayed a few times at this motel when traveling to Florida. Its quiet and a family run place. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, and well worth it if you have food with you (we had leftovers that we could heat up in the microwave and milk for our morning coffee). My only concern was being charged for using a credit card. The amount was nominal and they have a big sign, but nothing on the Hotels.com site, since you have to pay on property. "

"We liked everything about it. The staff went above and beyond. The bed and pillows were wonderful. The room was spacious and comfortable. We love the historic look of the whole hotel. Walking to the lake and downtown restaurants and stores was close by. The attached restaurant was amazing. We will be back"

"The room was updated and clean, the AC adequate, a little humid. Advertised as having a microwave but there was none. There was also no WiFi , which was not divulged at time of check-in. As with some other chains, there is no coffee in the lobby, no toiletries. Next door is a Starbucks and Waffle House with internet and breakfast. "
