Beautifully restored hotel, large rooms with sitting area. Be aware there is NO staff. We were there two days and didn’t see another person. Also, breakfast was NOT provided as advertised. There was a sign at the desk indicating breakfast served daily but was not. Also, Sunday and Monday all the shops/restaurants are closed. It is a cute walkable town however.

Checkin was a disaster. Room with no shampoo, small button soap for $150 night hotel and two rooms. Felt completely cheated. Main lights in the room not working at the fan. No water no coffee in the room. I can go on and on. Feel bad that Expedia sold me the place as a great hotel paying over $300 for a night for two rooms and getting no value.

Stayed here before. It’s gone from feeling charming to why are we here? Bathroom doorknob missing and tape was used to keep it from latching. Didn’t work! My husband was trapped in the tiny bathroom. Mattress was terrible! Room not very cool. Oh yeah, we also had no toilet paper!

The room was very nice. Bed was comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay. We never saw a single human in the hotel while we were there! Breakfast beignets were provided between 9am -1030am , we weren't able to partake due to we always left hotel before 9am.

There are a few things that are stated on the site, that the Hotel does Not Have. Fittness Center. Does not have. There is a gym next door is all I was told. Breakfast- sort of, It is not available until 9:00am. I was long gone by then. But it is a unique and quaint hotel. I enjoyed my stay. Just did not have everything they said that it had.

Owner is an amazing guy. This was our 2nd stay and he is always so friendly. The room was clean, and comfortable. The restaurant also has great food. We will be staying there everytime we pass through.

This is such a quaint and historic gem!! Last minute chose to book a room here and I’m so glad that we did!! The owner was also so friendly and there are the sweetest little shops that are walking distance.

Nice historical hotel.

The stay in the presidential suite was good except one thing. No door or wall between the two bedrooms just open no privacy at all. And the bunk bed mattress was very sqeeky very old. But overall it was a nice historic building with a lot of antique stuff. Staff was excellent and restaurant was good. Would stay again.

Expedia noted "free breakfast". Not true. They offered beignets, IF you happened to see someone connected to the hotel (doubt anyone would consider this "breakfast"). NOLA cafe next door was nice. Rooms were very small, but had everything you would need. would have been nice if they were a little clearer on how the parking worked. with no one manning the front desk, it was difficult to find out information (e.g. breakfast, parking, touristy info etc)

Unmanaged Hotel

I would stay here again,but I dont understand where to start with the problems. it's like no one runs the place.I never saw a manager or desk clerk. I walked next door to the restaurant and asked what what going on? A very helpful kitchen employee came over and gave us the key. I would mention his name but feel like I should let him remain nameless.he was extremly helpful,but not the hotel clerk.We and other guest had real issues with the rooms and he did his best to help.Isssues like,no one could get the heat working,the water spigots in the room leaked,the bathroom door wouldnt stay closed,the racks in the bathroom were falling apart,a ladder to a bunk bed collapsed on a guest,thier room wasnt clean.I think all that needs to happen is to get an employee to work at the hotel! It is a great nostalgic place with so much potential,if someone would just address a few issues and fix some very minor problems that seem to be stacking up. I did not ruin our stay,just thought it should be mentioned.
