"I had an overnight stay during Essence Fest. The location is great, in the heart of the French Quarter, 1 block from Bourbon. Light sleepers should probably choose a different hotel. Check in was easy, hotel was well maintained. It is an older property, but still well kept. No frills, just a comfortable, good location, place to stay. Bonus......you get a discount at Mr. Ed's, it was delicious. "

It was evident that high standards for the hotel are maintained. We had breakfast in the restaurant where the service and the flavor and presentation of the food was top notch.
