「The view from the second story was very nice. The sun deck was the biggest benefit. We were able to walk to Bagel Time for good coffee and breakfast. Having a parking lot is a bonus in Cape May. The light above our balcony was a tad annoying in not being able to turn it off but the drapes were sufficient in keeping the light out. All in all it was a very nice experience. 」

「The location was probably the best on the beach. Everywhere we wanted to go was walkable. There was a large covered porch that we were able to enjoy happy hour and listen to the nightly entertainment.」

「The hotel is really old, which probably explains the poor soundproofing. The bedding was also super uncomfortable, so I didn’t sleep well at all. Worse, I woke up with red rashes all over my body. Compared to other hotels nearby, this place is just not worth the price. Definitely wouldn’t recommend it. 」

「Right from the beginning it was great. Check in was so simple, and the people at the front desk provided me with such great and valuable information. The amenities are awesome. Room was great. Clean. Serviced every day. I would like to see a garbage can in the kitchenette. Pool was clean and water was warm. Was able to walk to a lot of cool things. Go to Washington mall. Amenities. 「We had the best time at tge Beach Shack. We loved being across the street from the beach and having a pool with ample lounging chairs. It was also so lovely to have the Rusty nail w/ the fire pits and live music. The smell of the wood burning fireplace at the restaurant was also delightful. We already rebooked for next year since we had such a great experience.」

「Excellent property. Kind staff. Quaint and located in the heart of Cape May just steps away from Washington Street and the beach. They have a decent gym at The Sand Piper - this the the gym the Virginia Hotel guests use. Will definitely be back! Quick babymoon getaway with my husband :)」
