「Große Ferienhaus in mitten der Natur, ca 10 km nördlich von Guayabo mit sehr guter Ausstattung. Was gar nicht funktioniert hat, war die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter, dadurch über eine Stunde Verspätung beim Einchecken gehabt.」

「Wifi didn’t work we were stranded. The manager only activated to us his personal wifi in the morning at breakfast. The road leading up to the lodge is very tough. The manager offered to guide us but was veryyyyy expensive. Around 300 dollars for 2 days 」

「This is a nice place close to Liberia airport. We've stayed here twice. We wish the cabins had a refrigerator, and a microwave. Sadly, the last morning, while sitting on the front porch, we were attacked by a swarm of black wasps, very painful -not sure if the hotel controls them or not. Overall, we like this place and may stay again next year. 」

「We did not use the pool. The location of this property is ideal being so close to the Liberia Airport. It is very dated. In my opinion, and huge renovation would be very beneficial.」

「I can't say enough for what a great time we had at Kakao Lodge. I was skeptical at first since I usually like staying in my chain hotels that provide all the normal American comforts. But after staying here, my mind has totally changed. You can't describe how awesome it is to be able to see a half dozen different species of exotic frogs at night, or a sloth while eating breakfast, or tropic birds singing to you in the morning. And don't forget about breakfast. Everyday, we had homemade to order...

「The host is amazing, and the hostel offers good value even though, on some evenings, there was a power outage and sometimes we didn’t have water at the property. Overall, it's great, and I will definitely come back when we travel here again.」
