If you like an experience away from the turist attractions then you should definitely go here. It’s a simple but beautiful ranch. The owners and staff are very friendly. We had a nice horseback ride. They have the sweetest dogs that will welcome you ☺️

Great place to stay and enjoy the peacefulness. Incredible and thoughtful staff (Connie and her husband who are managing the property are the nicest people, who obviously love and enjoy what they do), unbelievable views, great like home-made food.

The surrounding landscape and amenities were great, the dome tent that you can rent is awesome with a great view. The fact that it is far away from the touristy areas and still has ziplining/horseback riding/hiking/dining area make it a very good getaway.

Everything was really nice and clean, good WiFi, cute dogs, and Connie was very welcoming. We were only not used to the noise of the windmills nearby. And we really enjoyed the 20-30 minutes walk on the ranch owned trail while sunset.

The property is beautiful and the Dome room was really fun. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. We went horseback riding around the ranch which was fantastic. Definitely choose to eat dinner at the ranch. The price is good and food is tasty. I would definitely stay here again.

We booked our stay here thinking we would be at Rincon de la Vieja, however we ended up not going. The drive into the ranch is a good 30 minutes on gravel roads, it’s beautiful but rough. We had a 4x4 and still felt it. The ranch was nice. We booked a dome and it was nice. Different from living in urban areas. At night, it definitely gets dark. Bring playing cards or something to do. Once the sun sets, that’s it. We were the only ones staying, so we had the place to ourselves. We enjoyed the hot tub. The pool temperature was a bit too chilly for us, but they did have a water slide too. Jenny was our chef and she was awesome! It was a good first stay but I wouldn’t stay again.

Chambre correcte. Petit déjeuner extra. Le patron, Jorge est un sacré personnage. Par contre, comme dans beaucoup de lodges il est normal de mettre le papier toilette dans une poubelle mais comme la chambre n'a pas été faite, deux jours de poubelle non vidée, ce n'est pas très hygiénique.

La cuisine etait parfaite pour cuisiner mais la piscine laissait a desirer. Les enfants ont adoré la glissade deau mais la 2ieme piscine et le spa netait pas ouvert et leau etait horrible. La piscine netait pas ouverte en tout temps comme nous laurions voulu, comme le matin a 9h00.

Stunning location- you are surrounded by forest and pastures for the horses; very peaceful. The horseback riding is a must do. We rented the family suite and were impressed by the comfort it provided: complete kitchenette, comfortable beds. We enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi, great breakfast, and conversations with Jorge. Him and his team also helped with some car problems. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We only stayed one night when travelling through, but wished we would have had more time to enjoy the horse riding and ziplines. The dinner and breakfast was prepared for us by wonderful staff, and they catered for vegan, vegetarian and carnivores in our family group, including our 2-yr old grandson. We enjoyed the pool and waterslide during our brief stop, and enjoyed walking around the property with company from the very friendly (but not in your face!) dogs. The only very small thing is the wind turbines that made a small hum, but not enough to distract or keep us awake. The room was comfortable and had a small kitchen that would have worked well had we needed it. The road we took was very bumpy the last few miles, and we were glad we rented a 4-wheel truck rather than a regular car.

Jorge made us feel right at home. The ranch is settled in gorgeous countryside. We did the zipline and horseback riding with awesome guides. The kitchen staff made us home cooked meals for an affordable price. Looking forward to staying again on our next trip to Costa Rica!
