"could not have been a better stay. After watching an episode of No Reservations we were inspired to visit Antica Corte Pallavicina where Anthony Bourdain sampled some of the best ham in the world. This place did not disappoint. The estate dates back over 700 years and oozes charm from its painted parlors to its expansive working farm. Rooms are comfortable and restaurants are spectacular. Service is 10/10"

The proprietor went out of her way to accommodate the eldest member of our party , providing transport into the centre and coffee and breakfast were of a high standard.We enjoyed the added bonus of terrace area with direct access from our rooms.Laundry services provided and very prompt attention. "It was just right for my passing-through situation and budget. Kind of old-school throwback, simple and not romantic fancy, but did the job. Gentleman front-desk clerk was actually very helpful even though he was super busy at the time (a great change from the big city hotels in Italy). Parking is an issue I think but I used the alley ok. Town felt fairly safe at night, but did close up early and I had to hunt around for a late evening restaurant (but there is one right in the hotel)."
