"If you like cold showers and no hot water, then this place is for you!! When I checked in, the manager said they had just finished repairs to the water heating system and we should have hot water soon. Not! He then said if I did not have by my morning shower that he would allow me to shower in a vacant room. The next morning, no hot water!! Go to the office with my request, the person at the desk said he had no knowledge of this. So, I started my day with no shower. I feel I should receive at least a 50% refund of my payment, but I’m sure that will never happen. "

"It was okay. Advertising,That you have a sauna and steam room to use is great way to trick people booking. But when you get there it’s only for paying treatments or day pass for 60 a person. So booking this for a birthday present for my daughter thinking she could have some nice amenities was a very big disappointed. Also considering the price I payed to stay there. I come to Boston often. I wouldn’t stay there again. "

"The name is wrong on Hotels.com. It is NOT The Pottsville Inn...... It is The Pottsville Hotel. That created a great deal of confusion initially. I did pay extra for upgraded room, but no window(?) so I wonder what the upgrade was. Staff was helpful, we requested extra towels and a light bulb in one of the sconces. We got the extra towels but bulb was not replaced. A fire alarm went off in our room at 2:03 am while we were fast asleep...... not too happy about that but I managed to shut it off. Make sure to turn it back on in room 319"

"I always l loved Hampton especially after staying at the Courtyard Marriott for a week prior to this stay. But anyways, my only complaint was how Tiny and old our shower was. I am a tall guy, wish my shower new that. Seemed like the whole 3rd floor was in need of updating.Can't speak for whole building. Everything else was great. I will ask for an updated room next time. "

"The pool was a disappointment. Circulation of water was poor and water had a slimey feel to it. Lighting in bathroom was in permanent on position making it hard to sleep in the room. Coffee maker did not work. Property was not able to get it fixed during our stay. Seemed to have poor communication between shifts. "
