「AC was great and actually turned it to heat as the evening was chilly. Everything was clean and tidy. Beds very comfortable and good shower !!」

「If you're just staying a few nights, this place is sufficient for the price. Bed was comfortable. We had a mini fridge and microwave. Bathroom needed some repairs - the ceiling was falling apart and the room could use a good deep clean. The pool wasn't open yet, so we weren't able to use it. Overall, for the price it was okay. If we just need to stay one night, we will probably stay here again. Workers were nice, breakfast had a nice variety (yogurt, waffles, cereal, muffins, toast, juices)....

「This is a fabulous little hotel for families, we’ve been coming here for years and always return. Our children love the pool and splash pad, mini golf, and little playground. Colonial Williamsburg is accessible from the parking lot, it’s so fun to walk around without needing our car for the day. Convenient to Busch Gardens as well. This hotel is nostalgic and simple, we have wonderful family memories here and will choose Woodlands every time we are in Williamsburg. 」

「Definitely an older motel, but kept in good condition. Fairly basic, no daily housekeeping, but if you needed anything, all you had to do was ask at the front desk. Sean was wonderful!!!」

「This is a very basic stay. Room was relatively clean; however, there was no hot or warm water - staff never told us upon check-in even though we found out a pipe burst a few days prior and it hadn't been repaired. Curtains didn't open or close, air system was difficult to adjust, and the walls are extremely thin so you can hear everything outside your door. Prior to booking or staying, I recommend asking when the room was previously stayed in and whether there are any issues.」

However, I was assigned a room right next to the ice machine and emergency exit. I checked in late at night and didn’t realize the potential for noise. 「The staff was great! The room was ok. Double beds in rooms make it difficult for 2 adults in one bed. Room does not have a mini fridge. Carpets are awful, dirty and need replacing. Cleanness was hit and miss. Beds and towels were clean or new. Bathroom could have been cleaner. Pool area clean but needs wall repair. Breakfast was the typical inexpensive continental breakfast. A few restaurants within walking distance. Location is good for, Colonial Williamsburg, Busch Gardens, and Water country....

「Lodge Room quiet and sheets were clean but room worn with water stain in lamp shade. Elevator brass and woodwork needed polishing and dusting. Carpet dirty and worn. Crusty mineral build up around faucets. On the CW property but in the back 40 for lodge rooms. Food tasty in Barley Tea for dinner. Good coffee cafe in the am. Breakfast in Traditions has a decent breakfast.」

「The hotel was great quality for the price and a very convenient location for Williamsburg and Jamestown. The hotel staff were kind, helpful and courteous. The rooms were spacious and quiet and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was great. Highly recommend.」

「I bought a room for my wife and son. when they checked in the hotel wouldn't give them a room without first talking to me on the phone... 1. I didn't like this, the room was paid for. 2. how does the hotel know who was on the phone? if it was a fraud, how would they know. seems pretty dumb to me. no problem, we will not be going back.」
