"Kitchen"

"The hotel is basic but works. I had booked the quadruple room with the 2 bunks but the beds were not very comfortable. The comforter was plush and nice but the mattress was super thin and firm. We actually took one mattress from the top bunk and doubled up one of the lower beds to help with back pain in the morning. The walls are pretty thin and you can hear everyone walking above you. Other than those 2 things, it's a decent room. It's nice having the kitchenette. Location is great, closer to the train station, family mart and restaurants. There's baggage locks in the lobby to store your bags after check out if needed."

"The air conditioning worked well and we were glad that the panel included English! It was cold outside so it wouldn't get too cold. I did notice that the water temperature from the shower in the room fluctuated quite a bit. There is a Lawson at the corner and its a pretty straight walk to the Shin Osaka station close to the Osaka Metro Midosuji Line."

"Great stay location 2 blocks away from Shin-Osaka station, has 2 laundry, an Onsen which is a plus after a long and tiring walked you need a Onsen to be ready for the next day of walking , free soba every night and most of all staff are so helpful . Recommend this hotel . And of course near the 7-11, Family Mart , Lawson , Pharmacy. And grocery store "

"Had a wonderful stay at the Green Rich Hotel. It was a bonus to have shuttle service from the airport though it's literally a 10 minute walk. However, if you have a 90 y/o dad with you, it's helpful since a taxi would definitely not take you. When I called earlier about pick up times, they say to call them when you need the ride. However, if you don't have a cell phone or a phone that can dial in Japan, it's hard to find a public phone these days. I ended up going to the information desk and they called the hotel on my behalf! The other issue by not having a cell phone is that you can't make calls from the hotel phone. You can receive calls from the outside but no calls going to the outside are possible. That seems to be the case with a lot of hotels these days. They said that they incorporated this policy this year. Outside of the hotel, we didn't find much in terms of restaurants. We arrived on a Sunday and the only thing available to eat was the 7-11 which has decent food compared to 7-11's in the rest of the world but it's still a 7-11... It's nice to have a public bath in the hotel and the breakfast buffet is tasty and very filling. The rooms are clean and pretty spacious. For the price, this will be our go to place whenever we visit Itami. "
