"Hotels.com has some marginal properties and this is one of them. This La Quinta was barely adequate. When I got to my room, I took a quick shower. The water would not drain out of the tub. I tried to make a cup of coffee. The machine got very hot but would not brew it. Finally, I switched on the TV. CNN was only available in Spanish! This hotel should be removed from hotels.com offerings."

"Clean, still trying to find my perfect room there, close to the elevator is on the noisy side. And being from the West coast, 11 am check out is 8 am to me, that sucks when you are on vacation! They graciously gave me a later checkout (noon/9) it's an old place, I love it there, but it has it's problems, lost heat and hot water last stay in April, they are still running on a back up boiler, I expect they will be shutting down for repairs soon. Also found out that the property is for sale"

"Very good stay, excellent clean room, very good breakfast, really nice lobby/breakfast room and halls. Very quiet. The desk needs to be manned more consistently. Each time I went to the desk, it took a few minutes for someone in the back room to notice I was there - they were otherwise very helpful."

"This hotel is very well kept, it’s always clean and the (front) staff is always pleasant but as for management … DO BETTER. Me and my husband had stayed for one night and due to checking in later in the evening we had a very late dinner. I had taken back my entire meal and placed it in the mini fridge. The next morning we left our room to jump in the pool and when returning to our room before checking out for our stuff the meal was gone. When my husband asked if they had seen it they repeatedly said “there was no food” as if we were imagining leaving an ENTIRE meal in the fridge. Honestly I would have rather heard “Sorry, it got tossed while cleaning…” (which shouldn’t have happened before 10am or us even had checked out yet) so when bringing our concern to the front desk the very kind woman apologized and mentions … this isn’t the first time someone has complained about this and when calling the manager again they repeated “There was no food was left behind”, which blows my mind because it wasn’t just a few bites it was an entire meal !!!! I’m not trying to sound like “a customer is always right” but the least they could have done was APOLOGIZE. Nothing about we will check the cameras NOTHING but brushing us off with “They will call us back, but it might be awhile due to booking online through a third party” …. Like seriously how hard is it to APOLOGIZE? Like come on, Do better !!"

"Totally fine stay for one night. Room was clean enough and did not smell like smoke (though most of the hallways did). Everything worked fine (shower, toilet, air conditioner) though was definitely well-worn. No lamps of coffee maker in room. Walls were fairly thin and there was some noise (music, dogs, people), but a manageable level. Only spoke to someone at the front desk briefly but they were nice. Overall it was a cheap room for a night, so it was pretty much what I expected."
