"Check in was very quick. Staff were all friendly. Room was comfortable and clean. We had breakfast in the morning which was ok but a little disappointed with the hot food (tinned tomatoes and tinned mushrooms)."

"Helpful discounts for Gatwick restaurants and cafes. Indoor room was pleasantly big enough for crashing overnight. Shower hose leaked a lot and worth mentioning the bathroom is full wet-room style, so you need to strategically place towels all over the floor after showering. The web-based app stopped loading during the evening but was able to control air con and lighting from a room panel."

"We recently stayed at the DoubleTree by Hilton Brighton Metropole and had a lovely overall experience. The location is fantastic, right on the seafront and within easy walking distance of Brighton’s attractions, restaurants, and shops. Our room was comfortable and clean, and all of the staff we interacted with were friendly, professional, and helpful throughout our stay. The only downside was the check-in experience. The hotel was extremely busy, and there were large numbers of guests waiting for their rooms and room keys. Our room wasn’t ready until close to the stated check-in time, and when we did receive our key, we were initially assigned a room that wasn’t what we had booked. However, after returning to reception, the staff resolved the issue and were lovely to deal with despite how busy they were. It really seemed that the team had their hands full during peak check-in time, so the delays felt more like a capacity issue than a service issue. Once we were settled in, the rest of our stay was excellent. We’d happily stay here again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a great seafront hotel in Brighton."
