We wanted to be near the station and this certainly was! The decor was lovely and staff helpful. The breakfast was superb with delicious gluten free toast for me.

The hotel was very clean and had modern facilities with clean fresh towels and toiletries provided, the bed was comfortable and the room very clean. The bar and dinning area have been refurbished but have been styled in a retro vibe which added to the experience, there was good choice for breakfast which was of a good standard, the staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming, and we will certainly be staying there again.

I read the reviews and decided to book a family room. It was so clean and there was a double bed and a bunk bed. The bath and shower were very good. We had dinner at and breakfast at the pub both great meals.

Beautiful Victorian architecture, thoughtfully refurbished with very comfortable bedrooms and spotlessly clean bathrooms. The staff were superb and really cared about your well-being and comfort. In the dining area of the bar, food was well presented and always served piping hot. Staff were attentive without being intrusive. This is really a gem of a hotel!

This hotel is very close to the station and a 20 minute walk from the sea front. The rooms are very well appointed and modern. The staff are friendly and the breakfast was excellent.
