If you have a difficult time walking around or using stairs, you should know, the hotel has some pretty challenging stairs. "Stayed at Hotel Abi d'Oru for 6 night late August/early September and had a wonderful experience. The place is gorgeous, close to the beach and the staff is super attentive. I enjoyed the restaurant the most, starting with a fantastic breakfast, with a great selection of fresh ripe fruit pastries and egg dishes, and usually ending with dinner there. The restaurant at the hotel is absolutely superb with a new menu every day and fantastic pasta dishes with truffles and ragouts and stuff. After trying to have dinner outside the hotel, a few nights, we ended up reverting to having dinner at the hotel as the food there was massively superior to other places. I wanted to mention how attentive, welcoming and friendly the staff was, in particular at the restaurant as well as the cleaning staff as it truly contributed to a great experience. Finally we also had a fantastic experience at the GUARINO shop at the hotel where the selection of clothing was absolutely superb and the salesperson, Constantina was just so nice and passionate about her job, often recommending pieces of clothing that we ended up buying, even calling my friend with a lot of affection in her eyes, a Bellissimo Bambini... In short it was a wonderful experience all around. "
"This hotel was just what we were looking for to take a catamaran trip. Located in a quiet neighbourhood, uphill from the port, which has wonderful restaurants and a superb coffee shop with amazing pastries. We parked onsite and left the car parked for 2 nights never moving it until leaving. The room was 119, spacious with full sea view. Check in & out was so smooth and very clean. We appreciated the exceptional detail and care the older gentleman took in the breakfast area. "
