「Friendly/helpful staff and reasonable price!」

「Staff went above and beyond to accommodate guests, the filet mignon was incredible. Town is always buzzing w fun activities, all walkabe including free concerts, swimming in river, brewery. Park always has kids playing football, sports at all ages. The classic feel and beauty of the property itself is worth a stay! Ill be back!」

「The hotel feels old and outdated. The breakfast was very minimal. We wanted to use the pool but after seeing the breakfast choices we had to go out to eat so did not have time to swim.」

「At the front desk they had a posted policy about quiet time beginning at 10:00 PM. Despite that, the person in the next room had his TV on so loud that if felt as though he was in our room with us. This went on all night. Additionally, the bed was extremely uncomfortable. I was in pain no matter which way I turned. Between these two things, I was unable to sleep last night.」

「Pros: Room was very clean. Bed was great. Dog friendly. Felt safe. Close to downtown, goo location. Very affordable. Cons: no soap. At all. I asked and was offered dish soap. Glad I had hand sanitizer. Breakfast is mediocre, orange juice was gross.Tv needs an upgrade, picture was terrible. Couldnt close curtains all the way, so i was up when the sun was. Elevators are janky. This place is ok.」

「What a cute motel -very clean and updated-large rooms, nice view of the water. Bed was very comfortable. The staff was very friendly! Having the River Crab restaurant right there was awesome. I totally will stay again. If your wondering about this place, wonder no more!!」

「Nice room and good amenities」

「This was a nice hotel at one time. Not long ago. We stayed on a Friday night and there were only 10 cars in the parking lot. It’s my belief that this hotel needs an upgrade, but simply can’t afford it. It’s such a great location in Port Huron, close to all the wonderful amenities, this town offers, but… the room was dated, the bath mat was stained, the carpet was stained, and the staff was kind but definitely new and inexperienced with dealing with a public. There was a very heavy, musty smell...

「Very nicely updated and they did a wonderful job preserving the authentic interior. The bar has a terrific selection and the restaurant menu had something for everyone. It's not a quiet location but that's kind of obvious being at the very center of town. I can imagine during the summer months there would be quite a bit more street noise but the later it got, the quieter it became. I was in room #8 so the kitchen exhaust was below my window (which I did not open) and that put out a bit of an...

「No coffee pot in room. No housekeeping...apparently it was every other day but we were only there 2 nights. Breakfast was fine.」

「The property is nice and the staff is excellent. The only complaint I have is that Expedia says there is a full size refrigerator and a microwave in the rooms. However there is only a half size refrigerator and no microwave. The staff at the hotel has told Expedia on numerous occasions, but they won’t change it in the description. Also, I was there Sunday through Wednesday and many things are only open Wednesday through Sunday, so I can’t speak on some of the onsite amenities.」

「This was the best hotel I have stayed at in a long time. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, the room was fresh, clean, and comfortable. Overall, the entire building looked well cared for. They offered an included breakfast and the rooms also have all the amenities needed to prepare your own food. There was also a nice bonfire area outside with comfortable seating. We would definitely stay here again!」
