「Location is great. Hote Is basic as reflected in price as well as reviews. Restaurant at hotel was terribly understaffed - only one chef. Took an hour and 20 mins for food to arrive. Secondly, there was no daily cleaning or towel change and was not mentioned clearly.」

「Cooks Flat is a great find in Wrexham! Tranquil, peaceful and beautiful walks on the property. What a treat to stay on a private estate and visit the Victorian kitchen and games room. I appreciated the welcome gifts and hospitality from the hosts too. Would definitely stay again next time I’m in the area.」

「This is by far the worst hotel I have booked in all my years of travel and is to be avoided by anyone thinking of staying. The pictures on the website are of the hotel 5+ years ago when it actually looked that way. On arrival the place looked derelict, the grounds are overgrown and scattered with rubbish. The outside walls have huge chunks of plaster missing and exposing brickwork. Immediately I contacted Expedia for a refund. They then tried calling the hotel the request it back on the photo...

「Just a short overnight stay in see concert. Just slept there. Warm inside hut. Bed perfect for one. Hot shower in morning. Woke up by peacocks squawking...fabulous」
