We went to the Smelly Cheese village shopping centre. Many shops empty today and prices were high. Disappointing as someone with us said it was alot more vibrant 10 years ago!
"I had a wonderful stay at this beautiful estate. The setting is incredibly peaceful, surrounded by nature with plenty of greenery and open space, it felt like a true retreat from the hustle and bustle. The atmosphere was serene and quiet, perfect for relaxing and unwinding.
The staff were quite helpful and friendly, always available to assist and make sure everything was comfortable. The breakfast each morning was also a highlight, fresh, delicious, and a great start to the day.
Highly recommend this place if you're looking for a quiet escape in a natural setting with excellent service."
"We had such a beautiful stay here and have already recommended it to everyone we know. The spa/pool was a dream and everything was so peaceful. The restaurant was delicious aswell.
The only 2 baby flaws I had was that there was some rubbish by the spa on our first day and it was still there the following morning (it had just blown down a bit). It was only like a wrapper or something plastic but rubbish in general grosses me out. The other was that the big outdoor fireplace wasn’t put on and we were really looking forward to sitting there. We did end up sitting up the top and chatting with some other lovely couples but it would have been nice to sit down the bottom there.
Otherwise everything was 10/10. The check in was super easy, the room was clean and the views were lovely. We will definitely be returning "
