"Rooms are super big with kitchen and huge restroom. Very clean, very well kept. Front desk guy was super friendly. Just one thing that wasn’t a problem but they should change the valet guy to a more people person oriented guy. This guy would barely speak and if he did it was super soft. I could never hear what he was telling me and when I asked a question he seemed to be annoyed by the question. There is no free parking here and if you do want to park on this property it has to be thru this guy...

"My new favorite Austin hotel! Really great boutique hotel just minutes from downtown and a couple of blocks off the lake and Austin greenbelt. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the hotel has a great sense of that famous "Austin Funkiness" while still feeling high quality, with great little details and touches everywhere you look. Having a hip austin coffeeshop on premises and many restaurants and bars within a short walk was also a plus. Can't wait to stay again!"

"This hotel is a landmark and was built in 1886. They offer a free tour of the hotel which I would recommend. It's very well maintained while keeping all it's original charm. Downtown location is perfect - we did not need a car to get around the city. Staff well very helpful, courteous and friendly. I would highly recommend this hotel!!!"
