「Hotel El Manglar is maybe my most favorite hotel EVER! The grounds are beautiful!! The staff is so kind and helpful. Dylan and Georgia at the front desk were just incredible! The beach is stunning and the private path to the beach is magical! Our villa was comfortable and very clean. It had a king size bed, large shower, nice little kitchen and sitting area. Both the sitting area and kitchen had French doors that opened to the porch. We enjoyed our Costa Rican coffee and banana bread each...

「Hotel Cantarana and its staff are truly what made our Costa Rica trip so enjoyable. From before we even checked in, their staff was helpful and responsive regarding check in. After checking in, our room was clean and amenities were amazing! We are already planning for our return to Hotel Cantarana!」

「The properly was maintained very well and room service was excellent. The buffet breakfast was spacious with lots of various breads, yogurt, freshly cooked omelets to order, pancakes, waffles, pastries, and local hot traditional food. Rooms were a bit small and were not sound proof, but overall nicely decorated with a small fridge and safe. The resort has rooms on the beach and across the street next to a large pool. 「The staff and service was excellent. Very attentive and positive attitude and fun service. The activities process was confusing and were cancelled last minute, that was a little disappointing and can be improved. We had the all inclusive package and the food and drinks were good.」

「This is a gem of a hotel. Beautiful, clean rooms, secure, gated parking, and steps from the beach and Tamarindo restaurants and shops. We loved it!」

「We had minor issues with AC being always on, and the thermostats not kicking in. There was also a clog in the AC unit and cause leaking from the ceiling. The road to the resort needs work. There is a 10 minute stretch that’s really nerve wracking if you are coming in for the first time when it’s dark, and you worry about the damage to the vehicle. Other than that, it’s a great place and does deserve all the 5-stars. 」
