Casa Chameleon is a beautifully planned and executed resort. The views are incredible from all areas of the property, as it sits at the top of the ridge that sets the south edge of Playa Danta, and the north edge of Playa Pan de Azucar. The main resort buildings have been situated on the top of the ridge, so the welcome plaza and restaurants/resort pool all look out from the peak elevation. As a result, be prepared for steps down to your villa and steps back up to get to the main facilities. Exercise will be experienced! Each villa has been positioned to give a sense of isolation - you truly feel like you are in your own personal oasis. The small infinity pool in each villa is a great touch, and I think I need to get one installed in my home now! The restaurants are some of the best rated in Las Catalinas, and rightfully so. The included breakfast is any breakfast entree from the restaurant menu, and there is nice variety of savory and sweet options. My favorite part of Casa Chameleon is the service people. They are truly gracious and welcoming, and so ready to share what they know about all of the towns and beaches down the coast. Also, they are more than happy to help someone with poor Spanish skills learn a few more words and phrases that are helpful throughout your stay. Would definitely consider staying again!

My wife and I visited for her birthday and Valentine’s, and it couldn’t have been a more perfect trip. How unbelievably stunning the views are from both the property and the rooms. The location is maintained impeccably, and every detail feels thoughtfully cared for. Claiming they belong to the best 10% of all hotels, they in fact belong the 10% worst hotels in the world. They tell you the ideal place for romantic dinner. The dining room is more like a mensa kind of place with no flair at all. Management has no idea what is going on in the hotel and with the staff and in fact they do not care at all. Anna, manager of hospitality, is leading the worst hospitality/service team we ever encountered and is in fact as negligent as one can be. Her boss Marcela Romero, the hotel manager, same thing. Definitely will not be back to that place. If you are looking for quality avoid that hotel which knows how to run a great Marketing campaign but no idea how to run an upscale quality place.
Not at all a romantic restaurant for candle light dinner.

Casa Chameleon is magical! The staff is outstanding! The sunsets at Sentido Norte are spectacular! We can't say enough positive things about this wonderful resort....everything was perfect! The town of Las Catalinas is spotless, safe and on the ocean. Short walk to town or Casa offers complimentary rides there and back. We will be back!

Staff were very warm & friendly. Room was to die for. Bed facing private deck with private infinity pool connecting with the ocean & horizon!!! Didn’t really need to leave the room ….except that it was wonderful going up for breakfast every morning (overlooking the whole bay)….or having a drink & some food poolside by the restaurant. Our stay at Casa Chameleon in Las Catalinas was nothing short of spectacular. If your looking for something very intimate, relaxing & secluded this is where you want to be. From the moment we arrived, the staff at reception were incredibly welcoming & helpful throughout our entire 2 week stay! All the staff on site were absolutely exceptional!! We celebrated both our 30th anniversary & my husband’s birthday & the staff went above & beyond to make these both very memorable!❤️ Our room was spotless, clean & very comfortable. The view from our room, Danta 2 was nothing but SPECTACULAR!!! 🥰 The ocean view was incredible! Dining at Sentido Norte - Breakfast included fresh fruit & freshly baked pastries, great start to your day. Staff was very accommodating to alter menu items Eg: Derryk very much enjoyed his steak & eggs! The food was all excellent!! Once again the staff was exceptional! If I had to provide any complaints it would be to provide a stool of some sort in the shower. It would make shaving your legs less challenging! Thank you to all the staff, I know it makes it a lot more personal of a review to name specific staff members but we can honestly say all the staff were remarkable! This property offers gorgeous views from all sides of the resort. They are known for having the best location to view sunsets in the area. The staff are top notch, service is impeccable. We especially enjoyed the wine tasting experience, and poolside service was great. We visited during the rainy season but were lucky with the weather, all mornings were clear and sunny except one. This resort is a great place to rejuvenate. It is a bit secluded so if you wanted to visit the local town you need a taxi. They offer a host of excursions, including hiking, adventure tours, and fishing. The location is walkable to the local beach, in a small town under development. Just a beautiful location. Highly recommend!

This resort is one of the most magical places I’ve stayed at. The view, the food, and especially the people were beyond our expectations! My husband and I stayed for 6 nights to celebrate our honeymoon and i wouldn’t have wished to have spent my honeymoon anywhere else! The customer service is exceptional at casa chameleon, anything you want it’s at your door with no trouble what so ever. The views from each villa is gorgeous! You even have a shower w glass doors that overlook the pool and the beautiful ocean. Theres a town down the street that you can ask the staff to drive u to and when you’re done all you have to do is sent a text to the front desk and someone’s already on their way to pick you up and bring you back to the resort. I couldn’t recommend this place more, especially for couples looking to relax and soak up the sun and beautiful views from your own private plunge pool❤️
