"Friendly staff, clean room and shower with big bathroom. Breakfast and lunch were tasty. Would have been lovely to have breakfast in the terrace room as this a much better room with a scenic view and has the option of eating outside on a warm day ; the current breakfast room has no windows and is somewhat souless in an otherwise beautiful building. Good half hour walk into Sheffield city centre . Taxis into the centre are a very reasonable price - around £7. Thank you for a pleasant stay. "

We travelled early in the week in low season, so the pub understandably wasn't open on Monday and Tuesday, Also there is very poor sign for mobile phone and data and we were unable to get the wi fi password, which made contact for work a bit difficult.
